If you like cheese then this is the place for you. Totally amazed at the selection and the friendly staff willing to let you sample any and all. Also the wine shop is chock full of excellent wines.

What a gem. Self service goods at the front if you’re in a rush and the most amazing selection of cheeses I’ve ever seen! Prepare your senses when you first enter. Lovely, helpful and friendly staff, bought some goats cheese and sheep’s cheese. The real deal. It was raining on this visit but the outdoor area looks great when the weather behaves.

Amazing cheeses on offer and very helpful, friendly service. We were talked through most options there, offered lots of advice and spent far too much time tasting samples... Might cost you a bit more than the supermarkets, but the cheese you're getting is by far superior.

This is a cheese emporium par excellence. Don't expect cheap - this place is all about the quality and showing British Cheese at its absolute best! Knowledgeable staff, excellent produce and the opportunity to try before you buy sets this shop apart from it's peers. If you're not local they even do a cheese by post club! This is a regular stop for us if we are northwest bound. Wine shop opposite makes it an excellent stop to top up if delicacies if you're enjoying a special occasion too.

Great place, tried a few cheeses before we narrowed it down, buying some quince and biscuits too. Well worth a visit, I have never tasted such lovely cheese. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Thankyou.x
