On a very dull drizzly day, we came across Elaine's Tearooms and what an absolute treasure of a find it was. It was heaving when we arrived but all the staff, while very busy, were so friendly and not at all stressed. We had reserved a table for 4 as we also had a dog with us. The food was fresh, really well priced, with a good selection to choose from. The cakes and desserts looked amazing too, but we were too full to partake. There is parking in the farm forecourt opposite, which, on the day we went was very muddy but free parking is free parking. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend it to others. An absolute gem.

Yes lads. An absolute must! The eggs straight from the chickens outside👌 The homemade cakes 🤤 Don’t debate, just head home and treat your belly

We didn't stay long unfortunately as we were at Settle Falconry for the afternoon. Just crammed in enough time for a quick coffee and a loo break. Surprisingly spacious café with lots of little nooks and crannies. Very clean, as was the toilet and lots of fun little gifts for tourists who want to mark their visit to this beautiful spot. If we come back we'll be sure to have something to eat.

The only downside was I didn't try their menu!... the cakes looked amazing.. but I will the next time I visit. Enjoyed a very welcome latte after a walk from Austwick, I was lucky enough to sit outside as the autumn sun was shining and enjoy the outside ambience of this tucked away tearoom up in the village of Feizor.. Will definitely come here again and taste the lovely menu.

Oh dear. I so wanted to love this lovely, quirky, out of the way local cafe which I visited on a blue sky, sunny September midday. But I can't, despite the lovely staff and the tempting home baking. First the smell outside was so bad I had to go indoors where it was somewhat dark and oppressive. This was not the cafe's fault I'm sure ( next door farm?) but it was nauseatingly off putting. A one off, I hope! The pot of tea was fine; the cheesy chips just ok and the sausages not. In this beautiful area of Yorkshire surely one can source a tangy rather than bland cheddar for the topping! And the sausages had the all taste and texture of the cheapest, economy sausages bargain supermarkets provide. I will certainly visit again but do hope it's considerable potential and renown will be evident. And then I will gladly remove these criticisms and sing it's praises!

Busy but homely cafe. Loads of outdoor seating for walkers and decent parking if you've made the trip along the single track road. The meals were generous and hearty. Really nice greasy fry ups and massive cake slices. The vegetarian breakfast was enough to sustain a long hike. The staff were friendly and happy making it a really welcoming environment. Recommended for a nice lunch!

A wonderful little gem of a place in a quaint little village/hamlet. We expected it to be empty as it seemed quite far from much else, but actually found a place buzzing with both locals and visitors. It was gloriously sunny when we visited, so we were able to sit out in the fantastic outdoor space and enjoy an iced latte and a cake. Both were delicious! We also chatted a bit to other customers, who were extremely friendly and gave us tips on other local spots to visit. Would highly recommend!

Lovely pit stop , car parking on-site. Fantastic variety of food. Breakfast, meals , you name it . They've got it. Can't review the main food items as we only opted for a sweety fix . As we already had eaten our packed lunch . Which is a must . As you can't always rely on some places being open . Plus it saves the penny's .... The pudding was lovely . And filled that gap. Washed down with a milkshake. Plenty of outdoor seating and indoor . Added bonus of clean, well kept toilet facilities. Definitely a must when on a good walk around gods country. Even if just to get a cuppa , rest a while & use the toilet facilities.
